Russell Whitworth has focused the last 30 years of his career on the development and construction of multifamily. Russell spearheads all elements of the development and construction process at GWREP. Prior to forming GWREP, Russell led Greystar’s Mid-Atlantic region as Managing Director in charge of project execution. Before Greystar, Russell ran development & construction for Faison’s DC office and was a Development Manager at Post Properties. Before moving to the development side, he was a Project Manager with Turner Construction and a Field Superintendent at The Clark Group. Russell holds a class A GC license. He graduated from Arizona State University and attended the Johns Hopkins Masters in Real Estate Program.
Rob Gordon is responsible for development execution in GWREP’s target markets. Prior to forming GWREP, Rob worked at River Asset Management Company, a multifamily operator based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Before moving to Charlottesville, he worked in Acquisitions with Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers (now Barings), the real estate private equity arm of Mass Mutual. In this capacity he pursued acquisition and development opportunities on behalf of Cornerstone’s institutional clients across the United States. Prior to Cornerstone, Rob worked at Eastdil Secured in their Institutional Investment Sales Group and Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Banking Group. Rob is a cum laude graduate of the University of Southern California.
Will Gordon is responsible for development execution in GWREP’s target markets. Prior to forming GWREP, Will worked at River Asset Management Company, a multifamily operator based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Before moving to Charlottesville, Will worked at Walker & Dunlop in Washington, D.C. where he focused on multifamily debt origination for FNMA, FMAC, Life Cos., CMBS, and Regional Banks. Before Walker & Dunlop, Will worked as an appraiser at RCDH & Company, a regional commercial appraisal firm. Will graduated with a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Marshall Bailey spearheads GWREP’s acquisition efforts. Prior to joining GWREP, Marshall was an Associate with The Carlyle Group based in Washington, D.C. While at Carlyle, Marshall focused on the development and acquisition of multifamily, age restricted housing, and single family build-to-rent product throughout the Southeast, Southwest, and Mid-Atlantic. Prior to joining Carlyle, Marshall worked within Goldman Sach’s US Real Estate group where he focused on the equity acquisition and development of industrial and office product throughout the United States. Marshall earned his B.A. from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
Pamela Hayse leads the finance and accounting department as Controller for GWREP, bringing over 20 years of experience in Construction and Development. Pamela’s role oversees and directs all aspects of accounting and finance operational functions, manages the accumulation and consolidation of financial information, assessing accounting and internal control systems, support and implement software systems and improvements. Prior to joining GWRE, Pamela was Controller with Alliance Residential. In her capacity, she was responsible for over $4 billion in active multifamily projects nationwide, 11 nationwide divisions, and overseeing all aspects of construction and development accounting. Before Alliance, Pamela worked as Controller for TDX Government Services Group where she specialized in small business government accounting, unrestricted and 8(a) work for Federal, State and Commercial clients in the United States and internationally in the following fields: power, construction, engineering, bulk fuel, petroleum, and maritime. Pamela has her BS of Accounting from University of Phoenix.
